Coming Soon - 2010 Referee Training Information
AYSO Referee Training Certification may be obtained at any AYSO Region. Should our training schedule not meet your needs, you are free to find alternate training at any other AYSO Region by searching www.eayso.orgfor alternate dates and times. Referee Certifications: U8 Referee Training – For referees whose children will be playing non-competitive soccer, U8 and U7. Basic Referee Training – For referees whose children will be playing competitive soccer, U10 and older.
Training Dates & Times:
*** Basic Referees must also attend one of two field training sessions at Conejo Creek from 9 – 11 AM on either Saturday August 29 or September 5, 2009.
Training Locations: All training courses will be held at the Los Robles Golf Conference Center at 299 South Moorpark Road (just South of the 101 Fwy).
Course Registration: All new Referees must first register with AYSO for the Fall 2009 soccer season at www.eayso.org. This registration will provide you with substantial and important legal protection. Please register at www.eayso.org first, print out and sign your registration form, and bring the form to class to be processed. Once you have registered with eAYSO, please return to www.eayso.org and register for the appropriate referee training course. Select the appropriate referee training course from Region 9, and add your name to the list of candidates. Walk-in candidates will be subject to space limitations.
Course Rules To receive your referee certification you must be present for all training materials. Late arrivals or early departures will disqualify candidates from certification. Referee candidates must be 12 years or older as of July 21, 2009, no exceptions. Children should not be brought to the training classes.
