How To Become A Region 9 Referee
These are Instructions for New Referees
(Returning Referees Should Follow the
Instructions: Returning Referee Instructions)
1. Register to Volunteer with AYSO as a
referee, www.eayso.org.
2. Register for your Referee Training Class
and attend the class.
3. Schedule your games
These steps are described in detail below.
We suggest
you print this web page for your reference. We regret so many steps are
required, but we are a very large youth soccer organization with over a thousand
volunteers of one sort or another, and we need to make sure everyone is properly
identified and trained. Thank you for your cooperation.
Step 1 - Register as an AYSO Volunteer
Go to
www.eayso.org.

Log in if you are a returning volunteer, or click "First
Time" if you are a new volunteer. Remember to record the e-mail address and
password you used as this will be necessary during future seasons and to
schedule your matches as a referee. Please do not register
as a new volunteere if you have registered before as this will cause you to lose
track of your training certificaitons.
Complete the registration process, making sure you check the
Volunteer Position box "Referee" so you will have access to the Referee
Scheduling Module.
At the very end you will be asked to print a copy of your
Volunteer Registration Form, which you must submit at the referee taining class
or the Returning Referee Meeting. Print and save the final Volunteere
Registration Form.
Step 2 - Register For your Referee Training Course
Step 3 - Submit your Volunteer Registration Form
You may submit your Volunteer Registration Form at
your Referee Training
Course, at the
Returning Referee Meeting, or to an authorized AYSO Board Member at the
fields. Please understand you will not have access to the Referee
Scheduling Modcule until this AYSO Volunteer Registration Form is submitted and
processed.
