Premier League 2010

Premier League will commence January 16, 2010.

Premier League is self supporting: there is no referee staff available to support matches and each team must provide it's own referees in order to play each day.

Referees should schedule their work using the new eAYSO Referee Scheduling Module Here are scheduling instructions.  Referees must schedule matches in advance even though they may work their own team's matches during Premier League.

Premier League Referee Schedule Policy

1.     Team Referees will be allowed to work matches with their own teams. Coaches are not permitted to referee their own team's matches.

2.     With each team providing a referee for the match, one shall become the Center Referee and the other shall work as an Assistant Referee.  A parent shall be recruited to work at the 3rd referee, in the capacity as a Club Linesman and calling only balls in and out of play.

3.     The Region will attempt to provide independent referees for the Center Referee position, but such resources may be limited and a Team Referee may ultimately be called upon to work the match.

4.     Game Cards are to be used to game documentation purposes only - Premier League is non-competitive and everyone is a winner.

5.     FIFA Laws as modified by AYSO and Region 9 shall otherwise apply to all Premier League Matches.
