Region 9 Premier League
The Region 9 Premier League will commence January 17, 2008 at
Conejo Creek South. The Premier League is a non-competitive soccer league,
running thru March 7, 2008. All Teams are required to provide at least one team
referee each weekend.
Center Referees will be provided for each match, U10 - U14, but teams will
provide their own trained and certified Assistant Referees. Assistant
Referees will work their own team's match throughout the season. U7-U8 teams
will use team referees to work their own games, much like the Fall Season.
Referees are encourage to use Premier League to improve their referee skills.
Those who have only worked as an Assistant Referee are encouraged to work as a
Center Referee, and those who have only worked U10 matches are encouraged to
work U12 or U14 matches. Remember, the league is non-competitive and
standings are not kept, so there is no harm in moving up a level or two when
selecting matches.
Premier League Referee Training
The Premier League will offer a Basic Referee Course January 14-15, 2009 at the Goebel Senior Center from 6 to 9 PM each night. You must attend both classes. This is a reduced training schedule as will will incorporate Premier League training and supervision into the curriculum.
New Referees should go here to register for eAYSO and to register for the course.
Premier League Referee Scheduling
Premier League Referee Scheduling will be done via Clubspaces. While each team will provide it's own referee for Assistant Referee purposes, the Region will provide an independent center referee for all matches, U10 - U14.
